Easier QDX-Based Exchange Of Quality Data With POOL4TOOL
As you integrate your suppliers, POOL4TOOL helps organize your quality management by simplifying processes relevant to quality management and the exchange of documents.
By eliminating the entry of 8D reports by hand, this time-consuming and fault-prone manual working procedure can be shifted to the supplier. This results in less paperwork and significant cost savings. Other benefits include structuring and standardization of processes and information, and enhanced transparency within the organization and between the company and its suppliers.
WebEDI For Your Complaint Management
The complaint module in POOL4TOOL's quality portal automatically receives complaints in QDX format from your quality management system and forwards them to your suppliers. The supplier receives an e-mail, logs on in POOL4TOOL and, supported by workflow, can edit the complaint and 8D report step-by-step. Missed deadlines are journalized, reported and graphically presented.
Thus, for the first time the entire problem-solving process is documented, structured, and transparent for all parties involved. Further advantages are faster problem solving and an enhanced documentation quality due to the minimum entries that the system demands.
Quality Planning With APQP
Quality planning with APQP extends POOL4TOOL's proven project management functions, and features easy usability and linkage of further activities and documents, classified by element. During the development stage, the integration of sub-suppliers is especially crucial to secure the supply chain.
Supplier Management From A Quality Perspective
To document all supplier-specific agreements, the quality management team, too, can use POOL4TOOL's SRM functions. If complaint management is used, all complaints and 8D reports are recorded in the SRM section. Quality management personnel can deposit meeting minutes, drawings, outlines, action plans, etc., to provide purchasers and developers with the latest quality overview.
Monitoring Entire Supply Chains, Illustrated By The Example Of PPQ5
In collaboration with our clients, we extended the existing POOL4TOOL collaboration suite to include the monitoring of supply chains with PPQ5 to analyze BMW's new requirements in the field of satisfaction analysis (ZUV parameter). Now organizations can recognize possible problems of their suppliers at an early stage and launch countermeasures. In the same report, suppliers can integrate their sub-suppliers (who maintain their data by themselves), which leads to a presentation of the complete supply chain, from the OEM until Tier 10.
The system manages the different access permissions and ensures that a firm can only access its direct supplier's data. Problems and actions of sub-suppliers are viewed using the traffic-light method.
