The Public POOL4TOOL Marketplace

Every company registered on POOL4TOOL can publish its data on the POOL4TOOL marketplace on its own. On POOL4TOOL, both registration and publication are free of charge for suppliers.

To research marketplace suppliers, we provide you with a special tool, with which you can link parameters with each other to find the supplier that fits your search criteria best.

You can import suppliers from the POOL4TOOL marketplace into your private supplier database with one click, so you can access up-to-date information on the supplier — information which is updated by the supplier. On the supplier's information sheet you can find data such as contact addresses, manufacturing and product range, certificates, information about logistics, quality and environment, and unique identification attributes like DUNS and tax numbers.

The accuracy of the basic data and the detection of duplicate entries are ensured by POOL4TOOL.

The Private POOL4TOOL CRM / SRM Database

The private CRM / SRM database is typically synchronized with your ERP system and therefore contains most of your suppliers. Whether you are importing suppliers from the marketplace or entering them manually, we give you the ability to bring them in quickly and easily, without any onboarding procedure such as other platforms make use of. When market place suppliers are imported, you have the opportunity to supplement the supplier's data with your own data.

For the importation of new suppliers, we offer an Ajax-based Excel upload that includes automatic data mapping of pre-defined catalogs and automatic alignment with existing suppliers within the database. If a similar supplier is found, the import tool shows the degree of similarity as a percentage. Additionally, the tool allows the selective transfer of new or the combination of existing suppliers. A duplicate-searching tool helps you avoid duplicates and wrong entries in the supplier database.

The Central Information Pool

The POOL4TOOL supplier database is both the main connection with your suppliers and the central information platform for your employees. Using comprehensive role concepts and rules, you decide which plant, department or employee is allowed to access and change which data.

This guarantees that R&D, purchasing, quality management and other departments in contact with suppliers can easily access all relevant information. Various views can be arranged for suppliers to be able to see important data on their own monitors.
