Electronic catalog shopping and free text ordering are the tools out of the SRM Suite you need to reduce process costs and overheads. The ROI can be calculated in advance due to the fact that we offer the feature at a fixed monthly fee, without any variable costs.
Search one specific catalog or all of them simultaneously for a particular article. We use Google technology and guarantee response times below two seconds, even if you search in a catalog consisting of more than a million articles. Search articles with different search criteria, such as words in text, supplier article number, SAP material number, EAN number, original manufacturer number or original manufacturer name.
If you wish to see the photo of a certain product in POOL4TOOL, you just have to move your mouse over the article's icon. In addition, you can compare different articles with each other, create individual catalogs, change or add keywords of articles, etc.
Don't spend time on maintaining supplier catalogs. You just stipulate the terms and the product range, and we handle the rest. Please note: all catalog updates are included in our fixed monthly fee. Of course you can track any price changes in any catalog. We also arrange the integration of suppliers.
In POOL4TOOL you can determine which persons are allowed to order which volumes, and which persons have to give their permission for certain order volumes.
You can assign fixed accounts to each purchaser or enable one account per item or basket of commodities. Thus, a purchaser is able to assign an order or a single article to one cost center, or to one cost object such as a project or order. After the electronic invoice arrives, it is automatically assigned to the appropriate account.
With the optional SAP integration, shopping carts are forwarded to SAP by POOL4TOOL as free text orders. POOL4TOOL requisitions can be transmitted automatically to SAP as SAP requisitions. You can find further information about integration in the sections Logistics - SCM and SAP-Integration.
POOL4TOOL follows all current standards, including BMEcat 1.2 and eclass certification 4.1. The BMEcat standard makes it possible to present several hundred article specifications simultaneously.
The current order status is always visible to those who have made requisition and purchase requests. The type and quantity of information is dependent on the level of SAP and supplier integration.
